Bouquet "Pulse of Paris"

Wolfgang Tillmans photographed the city at night without cleaning it up — no staging, just whatever was actually happening under the streetlight. This bouquet refuses the same polish. Red gerbera is a flower with no qualifiers: no gradient, no shade that needs explaining, one flat block of colour from centre to petal edge. Green hydrangea keeps changing as it stands — it greens further, turns almost brittle to the touch before it even starts to dry. This isn't a bouquet trying to please everyone. Gerbera holds up well in water — a week without wilting if the water stays clean — but its hollow stem rots fast if neglected: it asks for a bit of attention, not a gift left forgotten on a table. A size built for a flat with exposed concrete, a metal shelf unit, a studio cloakroom — not a lace-covered wedding table. Made to order, not pulled from stock: each stem is chosen on the day it's prepared. Delivered in Paris, never a day early — exactly when you asked. Some flower substitutions may occur if we find that the quality of the delivered blooms isn't up to our standards, but the overall color palette and style will remain intact.
